Shipping

Eligible non-firearm merchandise ships to the approved customer destination. A firearm ships only to the verified receiving FFL. Mixed orders may arrive in separate packages. Some eligible merchandise may be fulfilled directly by a distributor. The Gun Nook remains the customer's point of contact for the website order; distributor identity and internal ordering details are not customer order terms. Ammunition offered for shipment is supplier-fulfilled using an eligible ground route. Destination, product, and age rules are checked before payment. The Gun Nook does not promise a carrier or service that the fulfilling distributor does not offer. A package containing $500 or more in non-firearm merchandise that The Gun Nook ships from local inventory uses seller-paid carrier declared-value or equivalent coverage for at least the merchandise value and a signature-required service.

No separate Shipping Protection fee: The Gun Nook does not currently sell an optional shipping-protection or insurance product. Private carrier coverage or signature service selected for fulfillment is a store expense and does not reduce rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

Report a missing, misdelivered, incorrect, or transit-damaged package promptly and keep the shipping carton, packing materials, photographs, and tracking information. Carrier-confirmed correct delivery is important evidence. Post-delivery theft is not covered by a separate store protection plan, but credible evidence of carrier misdelivery will be reviewed.

Pickup and unclaimed merchandise

No arrival or ready-for-pickup date is promised. Please wait until The Gun Nook confirms that the order is ready before traveling. Title to merchandise requiring in-person delivery, including firearms, remains with The Gun Nook until lawful physical delivery. The purchaser will receive written notice stating when the merchandise is ready for pickup. If the purchaser does not take delivery on the stated ready date, a five-calendar-day grace period begins the following day. A $10 storage charge applies for each calendar day beginning on the sixth day. If the merchandise remains unclaimed after 45 days, The Gun Nook will send a final notice allowing 15 additional days for pickup. If lawful delivery is not completed within 60 days after the stated ready date, The Gun Nook may cancel the uncompleted sale and return the merchandise to available inventory or otherwise lawfully resell it. Any refund or credit otherwise due may be reduced by accrued storage and other disclosed nonrefundable charges. Storage charges will not exceed the amount otherwise refundable. Management may waive or reduce storage charges when circumstances warrant. All firearms remain subject to applicable transfer requirements.

The ready date and notices recorded for the merchandise control the applicable timeline. This policy does not complete a firearm transfer or eliminate any transfer requirement.

Receiving FFL

An out-of-state firearm order must go to a current verified receiving FFL in the firearm customer's state of residence. The receiving FFL may charge a separate transfer fee. The Gun Nook verifies the dealer before shipment; typed dealer details alone do not authorize fulfillment.

Firearm transfer

Identification, age, residency, background-check, and transfer requirements are completed by the responsible FFL at the time of transfer. This website does not create, complete, retain, or replace Form 4473 or the responsible FFL's transfer decision. A website order does not guarantee that an FFL can lawfully transfer the firearm to the purchaser.

Cancellation requests

Contact The Gun Nook promptly to request cancellation. A request is not an automatic cancellation and does not itself void payment, release inventory, or contact a distributor. Cancellation is not guaranteed after supplier commitment, shipment, or firearm transfer. We review the actual order and payment state before confirming what can be cancelled. If we cannot ship within a promised time—or within 30 days when no shipment time was stated—we will provide the legally required choice to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped merchandise for a prompt refund. When cancellation or nonshipment legally requires a refund, we return the required amount rather than substituting store credit. Nothing in this policy limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Returns and refunds

All firearm and ammunition sales are final once possession is transferred. Non-firearm accessories may be returned within 14 days of purchase with original receipt, subject to a 20% restocking fee at management's discretion.

Contact The Gun Nook before mailing any return. We will provide the approved return instructions and address when the item is eligible. Do not send a website return to a distributor or an address found elsewhere. For an ordinary eligible preference return, the customer is responsible for return shipping. When The Gun Nook shipped the wrong item or the merchandise arrived defective or damaged in transit, The Gun Nook will provide or pay for the approved return method after reviewing the order and required evidence. Returned merchandise is inspected. Only eligible, sellable non-firearm merchandise can return to sellable inventory; opened, damaged, incomplete, or questionable merchandise may be refused or held from resale. An exchange is handled as an approved return followed by a new sale. We do not silently substitute another product. An approved refund follows the original payment record and cannot exceed the unrefunded amount. Any separately disclosed card fee is not treated as returned merchandise unless applicable law requires otherwise. Wrong items, shipping damage, nonshipment, and rights that cannot legally be waived remain subject to their applicable remedies even when an ordinary preference return would otherwise be final.

Clearance and final sale

Clearance merchandise is marked before checkout and is final sale with no ordinary returns or exchanges. A cart containing clearance merchandise requires a separate final-sale confirmation before payment.

Final sale does not eliminate remedies that cannot legally be waived, including an order we do not ship or merchandise that is not the item ordered.

Privacy

Information we use

Depending on how you use the site, The Gun Nook may collect your name, email, phone number, account credentials, residence and delivery addresses, order contents, fulfillment choice, receiving-FFL selection, customer notes, order communications, and security/session information. A regulated order also retains the purchaser's birth date and the age/rule decision applied at checkout. We do not require a universal website upload of identification or Form 4473.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide accounts and guest checkout, price and review orders, apply destination and age rules, prevent fraud and abuse, process payment, fulfill and track orders, support returns or disputes, send order communications, maintain tax and business records, and comply with applicable law.

When information is shared

We share only what is reasonably needed with service providers involved in the transaction, such as the hosted payment provider, applicable fulfillment providers, carriers, and the selected receiving FFL. We may also disclose information when legally required or needed to protect customers, the business, or the integrity of the service. The Gun Nook does not sell customer personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential session and security cookies for the cart, age acknowledgment, sign-in, checkout, and abuse prevention. No advertising or behavioral-analytics program is currently enabled. After the public storefront is released, The Gun Nook may keep first-party daily totals of catalog and product-page requests. Those aggregate counters do not store an IP address, browser or device string, referrer, search term, customer, account or session identifier, tracking cookie, fingerprint, or individual event. Reloads and automated requests may be included, so these totals are page-request estimates rather than identified or unique visitors. Hosting and security systems may separately retain ordinary access and security logs as reasonably needed to operate and protect the site.

Retention and account removal

A customer may request removal of the optional website account. Removal disables sign-in and anonymizes the account profile, but it does not erase order, sale, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, firearm-related commercial, or other records that must remain for business, security, dispute, or legal purposes. We retain information only as needed for those purposes and applicable requirements.

Your choices and security

You may use guest checkout instead of creating an account, update saved account details, request account removal, or contact us about applicable privacy rights. Do not email identification, license copies, or payment-card details unless The Gun Nook specifically provides an approved private method. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no internet system can promise absolute security.

Terms of sale

• Lawful use: Use the site only for lawful shopping, account, and order-support purposes. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, eligibility checks, inventory limits, pricing, or receiving-FFL verification.
• Customer information: Information and certifications submitted with an order must be accurate and belong to the purchaser. Do not use another person's payment, identity, or account without lawful authorization.
• Product information: We work to present accurate descriptions and photographs. The exact UPC and selected variant control the order. Manufacturer specifications can change; contact us before ordering when a particular feature is essential.
• Availability and service area: Products remain subject to stock, destination, product, age, license, carrier, and store-service-area review. Browse visibility is not a promise that an item can be sold or shipped to every person or destination.
• No legal advice: Storefront explanations summarize the ordering process and are not legal advice. The responsible FFL and current applicable law control a firearm transfer.
• Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, place an order, or otherwise use this site. By using the site, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Gun Nook may decline or cancel an order if there is reason to believe this requirement was not met.
• Governing law and venue: These terms and any order placed through this site are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or an order that is not otherwise resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue. This does not limit any right or remedy that applicable consumer-protection law does not allow to be waived or restricted by contract.
• Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Gun Nook's total liability for any claim arising from an order or use of this site is limited to the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. The Gun Nook is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or lost use, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in this section limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited or excluded.
• Nonwaivable rights: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, duties, or liability that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
• Changes: The policy version accepted with an order remains part of that order's record. Later website changes do not silently rewrite the terms recorded for an earlier order.

Payment

Online card details are entered on Authorize.Net's secure hosted payment form. The Gun Nook receives transaction status and limited payment references, not the complete card number or card security code. The initial online transaction is an authorization hold. It is not proof that the order has shipped or that a firearm transfer is approved. Capture occurs only through the reviewed order workflow. The final review shows merchandise, tax, shipping, and total before the secure payment form opens. Payment authorization does not permit an unavailable, restricted, or unverified order to bypass review. A refund is not complete merely because it was requested. The order record will reflect the actual confirmed payment reversal.
